1. Intro to P.A.C.E. your Practice to Success: Step 1 Pay Attention 

 

This class is designed to identify stress body signs that indicate the load is too heavy. Helps therapist recognize whether a client has a healthy P.A.C.E.™ or Frantic P.A.C.E.™.  Look at most common areas that are affected when practicing a Frantic P.A.C.E.™.

 

Will explore how the Rhythms of  Sleep, Mood, Movement, and Food are affected by chronic stress, pain or trauma and simple tools to help identify and improve Sleep, support healthy Mood, encourage consistent Movement, and increase optimal Food for a Healthy P.A.C.E.™.

 

This class  will be a combination of lecture, demo, and hands on practice.  Participants will receive a workbook that has all the tools and is a great resource.

 

 Stress is a part of life and can have beneficial outcomes unless it becomes Chronic stress which creates a heavy load in the body and as a results symptoms develop.

2. P.A.C.E. your Practice to Success: Step 2  Access Body Wisdom

 

This class is designed to identify what it takes to release accumulated stress response that accumulates in the body and creates issues in the tissues using the Healthy P.A.C.E.™ Formula.  How to apply this to your treatment or send home for better results in between sessions.

 

Learn signs of both acute stress response and chronic stress response.  Determine how to help client alleviate and promote deeper relaxation even when a stress response is triggered during a session.

 

Explore how to cultivate the body’s Relaxation Response with simple 2-5 minute tools and learn to identify the signs of an acute and chronic stress response.

 

This class will be a combination of lecture, demo, and hands on practice.  Participants will receive a workbook that has all the tools and is a great resource.

 3. P.A.C.E. your Practice to Success: Step 3- Center and Restore:

 

This class is designed to help restore and promote rest and balance to the body. We will look at tools that are based on latest neuroscience research that supports body returning to homeostasis and optimal health and how to use them in session, at home, and on the go.  These include Introducing a gratitude practice, cultivating Therapeutic Presence and Identifying indications for both.

 

All three help to develop and nurture a  safe space for the client, professional boundaries for the session and a useful tool to promote energy all day long without feeling like you are taking on your client’s stuff or drained at end of your day.

 

This class will be a combination of lecture, demo, and hands on practice.  Participants will receive a workbook that has all the tools and is a great resource.

4. P.A.C.E. your Practice to Success: Step 4- Engage in Sustaining Routines for Transformation:

 

This class is designed to identify routines that are keeping you stuck or promoting health and reducing stress.  Learn what Insanity Now Behavior is and what to implement to avoid it. Step 4 is the glue to setting a healthy P.A.C.E.™.

 

Chronic stress decreases daily function, weakens health and diminishes peace of mind.  It also increases tension in the body which gets body stuck and out of balance.  Bliss and a Healthy P.A.C.E. has to be introduced, cultivated and practiced to improve health and enhance peace of mind so that client can relieve symptoms, reduce stress and manage pain with greater ease and confidence. 

 

Therapist learns how to use this step by step  Healthy P.A.C.E.™  Method to a more effective and successful therapist.

 

This class will be a combination of lecture, demo, and hands on practice.  Participants will receive a workbook that has all the tools and is a great resource.

5. The 18 hour Class- Go from burnout to bliss: 4 steps to P.A.C.E. yourself to a successful, healthy and prosperous practice 

 

This is a  live two and half day class.

 

 Students will take away from class…

  • Cultivate the importance of practitioner self-care

  • Promote and maintain scope of practice boundaries

  • Recognize body signals of overwhelm, frantic and anxiety

  • Negotiate interpersonal space

  • Develop into a more effective therapist

  • Develop skills of listening to body and mind of the client

 

Day 1 and 2 are from 9 AM to  5 PM with two breaks, morning and afternoon and an hour lunch break.  Day 3 starts at 9 AM and ends at 1 pm with one break.  

 

The class ends with filling out evaluations and receiving CE certificates. Participants must fill out the evaluation and sign in each day to receive the certificate.

 

All classes are a combination of lecture, experiential activities, and tools that can be practiced right in class and utilized in treatment session right away.
